    SL 750 Triple Pipes

How much of a pain in the a$$ is it to install the psi pipes on a SL750.

What speed gains should I see? I guess I would have to rejet also?

Also, once they are installed, it looks pretty damn tight. Can you even get in there to grease the driveshaft, or pull the battery??

I'm watching a set of pipes on ebay. Looking for a project, just for fun over the winter. Is it even worth it on the SL750??

It is a pain to get them in but you get used to it. You can not pull the battery while the pipes are in. Your carbs will feed the pipes but they will need to be rejets or swapped out for 44s. It will feel like a different ski with WAY more power. You run about 50 right now if your stock and the pipes can get you closer to the 60 range. There are a few threads in the project section you should read over.

Those pipes will need a couple tubes for the waterbox. I can get pics and dimensions for anyone who needs it.

They are a pain to install and do maintenance with, but when they come up on power, you forget all about it.

Hell yes, they're worth it on a 750. Only problem (if you call it that) is the fact you lose cruising around. It's WOT or idle, that's it!!!!

Ack! I can't handle the pressure!

I'm not gonna bid, or at least I don't think I'm gonna.....

    You'd better get 'em!

The Smile Factor alone is worth the effort.

much cheaper and less headaches to find a good used sltx unless you really enjoy building and tuning as much as riding.Triple pipes to achieve the perfomance gains require carb changes, port reworking, lots of tuning, then yes it will fly,but its a lot of hassle unless you equip your ski like one of the old works skis that allows side panels to come off on each side of engine compartment.Just a idea to think about>Marvin

What is the exhaust advantage to an SLTX? Will SLTX parts work on an SLT? Thanks
