RXP vs RXP-X
Does anyone know the difference bewteen the RXP and the RXP-X? I know there is a Hp diff, but what makes up for the change? Is it something simple that an older RXP could be modded to the same level?

Welcome Oldschool. The "X" model has a larger supercharger and intercooler along with different ecu mapping. Also has a larger pump tunnel and nozzle exit which makes for better holeshot. It also has safety issues if pushed over 77-80 mph under certain water conditions called overstuffing. You can do searches on here for all of this info which has been discussed at length. It was designed for cc buoy racing and does that very well. It would take more money then it's worth to make an RXP run with the RXP-X unless you want to mod your ski to go faster than 77-80 mph. The RXP is the boat to get for really high speed's but you will spend alot of money doing it. There's a wealth of info on this site for both ski's and others will chime in on this. The "X" ski's have an incredible holeshot and great acceleration. It's relatively easy to get 75 mph out of them. The RXP's are also a very good ski and are very popular.

The P with like mods (same as X) is a 77 mph ski the BIGGEST mistake made is running 8500. Stick to 8100 rpm and it is bullet proof.

Rxp v. Rxp-x
The RXP-X handles like it's railed and it tries to pull your arms out of their sockets on acceleration.

I never owned an RXP but I have ridden a few. I just bought an RXP-X and I tell you, I love it!
I really think my GPR's will be seeing little use now.
