    2002 gpr800 build

    ok so i started last week on my 800

    ok alot of new parts still waiting on the sho nozzle and flame arrestors
    got the adapters
    ride plate is off ready for new inserts
    old matts were taken off

    ok got the old ride plate off and started cleaning the hull plate where the new pump will bolt onto
    mats off and wiating for it to warm up to marine tex and start painting
    old exhasut out in the process or getting free flow and jims plate

    you DON'T need to true that much of the hull!!!

    think when your riding.. that front section ISN'T even in the water! So why do you need to true it?

    True from the Keel BACK to the rear that's all you need to do!

    wait what is that on the bottom of your hull i thought you sanded all of that!! what are those spots and stuff

    i know about trueing the hull
    but the whole bottome of the ski was covered with bottom paint
    so i sanded it all off and the spots are barnicles that grew on it
    they look rough but you cant even feel them in the hull
    im basically done truing and just doing finsih sanding everywhere else to get it smooth for marine tex and then to prime and paint

    but i have to wait for it to warm up
    once im dont this ski should be about the same as a stock 1300 or slightly modded 1200.
