Flat Top Kawasaki's ?
I know in CC racing most GPR superstocks use 81mm Kawasaki Flattops.
Has anyone used 83, 84 or 85mm Kawasaki Flat tops for a bigbore ?
Even KX 86mm pistons are an option (I do know GroupK uses 87mm Wiseco's)
Is it more hassle than it's worth over the ProX 83mm ? I'm going to be boring and replating anyways.
When racing Superjets converting to 85mm Kawasaki pistons "was" the way to go over the Yamaha dome design.

the flat top 81 is the way to go for cc racing but is much more involve on these mode like cuting the bace of the cylinder to match the pin flat top domes an the flat top are not reliable over time you need to change pistons every 4 to 5 hrs
on the 785 eng was a total diferent deal the pin is far from the top and these flat top engines was much more reliable

Why not just go big??
I have some 91mm pistons in both flat top and conventional domes with a 22mm pin diameter.
