Thanks for the reply Keyzbum, I broke down and ordered the new generation 5MP Go Pro Motorsports Hero Camera yesterday from all the reviews I've read the most common con mentioned is its ability to suck the life out of batteries. They would last anywhere from 5-15 min. of video. But theres comments on a Energizer battery that outlast the recording capability, like 56 min. At the present time im doing the finishing touches onna helmet cam for my Olympus 1030sw. I purchased a ventilated skating helmet and adapted the camera attachment portion of a flexible leg camera stand to it with marine epoxy. I tested last night around the house and it worked fine, I'll have to test it this weekend to see how it holds up to the speed on the ski. I have to install some sort of safety flotating lanyard in case it comes of the helmet. Cost; about 50.00 to put together with a lot of potential for good footage. Will post results.I will also post my results on the Hero cam just as soon as I can test it. BTW thanks for the footage of your Hero cam.
