adding a rear hitch on my trailer

when i sold my ski, he man didnt want my trailer...he had his own, so i fugured i would change it into a flat deck trailer.
so i bolted on 16 4" long 1.5"x8"s painted the trailer black, added a new jack (old one had some rust), putting on new lights some time next weekend, a new wire harness,Gas can rack, waiting for new fenders, and now i want to put on a rear reciever so i can put a rack on the back of it for my mini dirt bike/Accessories while our quad is on it.

does any one know how I would go about doing this???
any advise would be great.. i do have access to all if not most of the tools and material to do this project.

thank you in advance for your help.
    Darren

Bolt on or weld on. Have the hitch hit the trailer at at least two points preferably a reasonable distance apart fore and aft (for strength and stability) with the receiver end of the hitch as wide as possible (for rotational stability).

Works for me I would weld it like an I with the end near the hitch being a foot to a foot and a half wide. I would then use either U bolts using either rounded or squared bolts to fit your trailer or add a plate over the top of the tube using two Grade 5 or better bolts to attach the hitch to the trailer (this is in place of the u bolts). When I bolted on a steel hitch on my aluminum trailer i used plates (to spread the load and not crush the aluminum tube) and bolts and put pieces of innertube between the hitch, plates and the trailer.
I also recomend using nylock nuts.
