    Gtx ltd 07 vs rxt-x

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a simple question.....Is it a riva stage 2 kit enough for bitting a normal rxtx-x from 0 to 40 miles or more in a whole shot?

Thanks for the reply. You mean that gtx will lose even from 0 to 40?

The RXT-X holeshot and acceleration is excellent. The reason why it will have the advantage over the GTX/RXT is the intake area to the pump. The shoe/grate setup on the T-X allows much more water to be feed to pump.

Holeshot and accelerationon on the T-X is also greatly improved with VTS, but i think the GTX LTD has VTS, but the RXT does not.

    Pics of grates showing difference.

I raced a stock RXT-X on my "stage 2" RXT, pretty much side by side up to 45-50, then I pulled away and kept on going. They have sick acceleration for an out of the box machine.

your rxt is pretty much modded to be a stock rxt-x.

My Gtx stage 3 plays around with a stock rxt-x . Nobody realy races from 0-40mph. So a stage 2 rxt will fly by a stock rxt-x easily no problem.

stock T-X. for sure your faster top end, the ski is being held back too much with stock setup.

My T-X will run 74+ with right setup, but I have done my own fine tunning on it. (stock ecu and stock sc at higher RAD then most) I would be 1 to 2 mph faster at sea level.
With that being said, a stage 2 RXT would be very similar but i think i could pull it out of the hole and stay in front.

Now comparing a stock T-X to a stage 3 GTX/RXT is not really a good comparison.

    Compare a stage 3 T-X to a Stage 3 GTX/RTX and i take the X.

I bet the X would pull the GTX out of the hole and stay in front of it. Its all about setup once your comparing apples to apples, but if comparing apples to oranges then there is not a good comparison.
Most dont race just to 40 mph but that 2 boat lead at 40 mph will be hard to over come.

THen again its all talk and doesnt mean much until we get out there and run the grudge race.
    Eveyone meet at the MB.
