thoughts on good ride to pull tubes with

have a couple of yamaha skis---largest one is a 760. I am looking to try to find a bargain this winter that has a little more pulling power for tubes/knee boards. i would like to keep my investment to 5k or below----would appreciate some thoughts on what ski i should look for. i realize the history of the ski is most important, but outside of that which models have proven to be the most reliable and least expensive to maintain? thanks to all!

yea a xlt or xl1200. three seater is optimal for pullin as you will need a driver spotter and flagger

    welcome to the forum.

The 3-seaters as Woody mentioned like the XLT is a great craft. Plus depending upon your location, it allows you to have the "spotter" behind you and they can sit comfortably while you pull a skier, wakeboarder, inner tube

While the xl 1200 is a good ski, the SUV rocks when pulling tubes and skiers, having personally owned one. It is very stable in the water with more than enough power for any kind of water sports you throw at it. You should be able to pick one up in your price range, though you may have to look. Not always the easiest to find.
