GP 800 after how many hours
I have GP 800R 2005 and my dealer say after 200 hours I must change piston and piston rings is that true?

check your compression - it will give you some idea about the health of the rings. make sure the motor is warm and you hold the throttle open.

I hav't any problems with engine but dealer say this motor have very sharp zilinder and after 200 hours, piston and piston rings go to be breakable.

i havent heard of that but 200 hours is alot of hours and a top end rebuild isnt that hard
pull off the exhaust and the head and cylinders replace the pistons and gaskets and break it in
do the compression test and see then go from there
