pump extension / RXP-RXT Driveshaft length question..

The pump extension kit requires an extended length drive shaft, of course. But I was under the impression that the RXT drive shaft was longer than an RXP drive shaft? So Could an RXT drive shaft theoretically be used to make an extension kit for an RXP if you fabricated your own pump extension? OR is the length difference negligible, and not even close to 2" ? Anyone that has any info onthe shaft differences would be appreciated! I wasn't about to find anything in an initial search, but If I find any more info I'll post it the specs, Thanks!

There is no easy quick short cut way, I looked very closely at what was avalable and if you decide to build your own and find a real good machine shop you can probably get 1 made for you for about $2500

well, there is the possibility of talking glen at skat-trak or dave at impros into welding an extension onto your exising prop.

You could have them cut it in half, weld in the extension, and then have it re-heat treated. Maybe...
