Pottahawk piss-up!!! The name says it all. So everyone lets see some pictures of your BIG boat party's. Here are a couple pics and a link to some ariel photos. Piss-up has about 40,000+ people only happens on the second sunday of july and only a 5min boat ride from my cottage WOW what a blast...People actually leave the day befor just so they can get a good spot to park and party goes from dusk till dawn they continues at the marine during the night

33rd Annual Ski Day on the Ohio 2008....we used to do it on a pump out (where they clear the barge lanes and it made a temporary island in the middle of the river), but it kept growing so now it's held on a island about 1/2 mile from the city river front

Hey awesome pics everyone......Here some more info. Pottahawk is a beach/sandbar and is located on longpoint bay off lake Erie(canadian side) it's not an island but you can only get to it by boat and boater charge up to $300 per-head to take people there but only one way they half to find there own way back. Party stretchs about 2.5 miles long (take 2hrs to walk for one end to the other) and is 5-7 rows deep. and there about 10 police boats 2-3 coastguard ships and 2 police helicopters to moniter it. every weekend it a party with all the locals but once a year this crazy party takes place and no one oganizes it, people just show up and party.

Im sure people would pay it, or get a free ride back with the coast guard ahaha. next Piss-up im getting up early and takin people over. Going to charge $200 a head and i cant fit 3 on my 2004 sporster.Going to make as many trips as i can witch will be alot cause its a 10 min ride from the main marina. It CRAZY how many people are waiting on the docks hopin to find a ride over.

if theres no laws against it and could do 10 trips witch would take no more then 1hr & 1/2, id be happy with that

Definitely check into the law aspect of it..or keep it on the low that you are charging for rides.
