The most likely problem, is a worn wear ring. The next posility is a slightly damaged impeller. How many hours are on the wear ring?... Ron

Check and make sure the rubber or plastic nose cone is seated all the way up against the prop on the drive shaft.

Did your Riva Kit create the problem? Water going by the intake from the side may cause it but also the nozzle causing very high back pressure can also make it worse. Are all the inlet vanes still there.. You might put this in the 4 stroke performance forum. They no more about making those HUGE skis turn....

I have the same problem. I have a new wear ring and new prop. Same problem. Not as bad as it was though but still not good. Any ideas?

You think it is the neoprene seal? If so can I use some sealant or do I need to buy a new seal?

Well I replaced the neoprene seal and I still have cavitation. New prop, new ring, and now new seal. Any suggestions on how I can test the carbon seal without replacing it?
