    router for laptop

I just got a new laptop and i was wandering if anyone has any suggestions on a good wireless router?? I need something that is going to work good and last. Does not have to be the most expensive or the cheapest. I would appreciate the input since i have no idea on what to get. Thanks.

Here ya go. Iam using one of these in my house.
    LINKSYS WRT54GL IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G Broadband Router

It gives out a great signal through a couple walls and has plenty options for wireless security.
If your not familiar with newegg, there an amazing company that loves to satisfy there customers, ive bought dozens of things from them. I could help you if you dont know how to set up a secure network to keep them wi-fi bums out.

Be sure to learn about the security settings and use them. You don't want unwanted guest stealing your bandwidth. And don't forget to change the default username and password.

i seen that but never did it ..what features do you like??
i had a router coming from japan last year ,but they stopped it in customs because it produced too much power(5-10 watts)..
all i got was a letter asking me "not to try to surcomvent(sp) the fcc laws-thank you"

I got 2 of the wrt54's 1 is stock the other is flashed with the dd-wrt firmware so I can use it as a repeater and adjust the power level. Now if I can just get the repeater to work rite it will all be good.
