Wtb:WHAT to buy? AIM offshore
I'm selling my rxpx becsuse i 'm not satisfied.
I would like a pwc for pffshore in the sea and a good speed / hole shot.
RxtX or Rxt (what year and what mods?) or ultra 250 or yhami sho?
I wouldn't buy a new year pwc as rxtS or ultra260.

I would post this in general descusion. As far as seadoo is concerned then i would guess that the RXT X would be best stock boat but the 250x is supposed to be best offshore boat. R88

I would think running an offshore chop that you would want to be able to trim up and down for varying conditions. I've heard the Kaw doesn't have a trim system (anyone?). Neither does the RXT. After owning an RXP-X, I doubt you would be happy with less power. Go for the RXT-X. Or possibly the SHO. No experience with that hull But maybe RIP/TEAR will chime in. Just my .02.

I'd go with the 260X. The hull has proved to be the best in the rough and the 260X is more refined than the 250X. I wouldn't really call it a "first year" ski. It has a pretty good hole shot for a big boat and there are some nice upgrades for it that look like they will push it to the 75mph mark or close to it.

If its going to be rough the 250X is going to outpace any other ski... take a look at the results from this last years LB2CAT race... it was really rough so the Kawi's were king. If it had been fairly smooth the Seadoo's would have smoked the Kawi's due to their much higher top end.
