Rebuilding Kelhin CDK II carb question, Pro 1200

I am rebuilding my carbs off my 2000 pro 1200, it had lost low to mid
range power. They have 130 hours on them. I pulled them apart and there was foreign material past them screen by the jets, this looked like the problem. Question?? The part where the pulse line hooks up to the
pump diaphram has 2 odd allen screws [ shackle head ?? ] looks and says
in the manual to be non-serviceable, is this true ? Does anybody buy the
special wrench and do it anyway ? or it it even necassary?

Any other advice on rebuilding them?

Not sure on the carbs, but did you try doing a compression reading?

How are the bearings inside the jet pump?

All my problems began after I ran it out of gas, after refillig it never ran right at low and midrange, I only ran it for a short time, checked the plugs that were very light compared to normal, I checked the pickup tube and filter and fuel lines all were good, but I am going to change then anyways,
thet are the stock gray ones. Compression is still 135 psi on all 3 holes.
    pump is good.

So does anybody take apart the so called tamper resistant screws?

TXPro 1200- I think I bought the rebuild kits from you??? It's been a while I can't remember for sure, anyways , there sure a lot of extra parts left over that don't appear to be for this model, Or am I missing something?

Harbor Freight sells a bits for removing tamper resistant screw,Then you would have to replace them with new screws. Got a picture of them?

Carb rebuilds are complete! replaced all fuel lines, pulse lines and cleaned out tank, did not remove tamper proof screws and access the "non-serviceable " fuel pump area. Have not started it yet, still have to fix broken choke lever.

Possible water test this weekend !

    smoke,
