    gprxp waterbox options

Is there any other options to the TDR waterbox. Can I just run a water-injected pipe out the back?

Addicted used a Yami box, Beerdart modded a Polaris and Insandiego Joe went straight pipe.

Unless you use the TDR there is going to be some fab required.

I sort of missed the 'ol open exhaust Spitfire. There was NO DOUBT who was approaching at high speed when that puppy was running WOT coming across the lake.

Of course, if he passed you on the right, and you got hit by those sound waves in the pump tunnel, you almost wanted to jump off your own ski.

I want to keep the setup simple. I was thinking about just running the stock seadoo j-pipe into a pipe that connects right into the riva gpr rear exhaust pipe.

The MC1 box is the most simple way to do it. You can use any old free flow, the 13r Riva hose or even stock noise reduction. You call TDR and order the box. When it arrives you cut the Jpipe under the weld, and put everything in place. You are done. It looks good. It works good. It's requires no other couplers. The welds are incredible, and the design of the end-caps are better than any other waterbox on the market...and if you want, Tony will change it for you. Nothing is simpler.

If you can weld aluminum then pay attention to what folks have already done on here, and chop up the front of the gpr box and make a connector pipe to hook up to the j pipe. You are done. It outflows, or is close to outflowing anything for the GPRXP. Nothing is simpler, if you can weld.

You want difficult? Hook a straight pipe from the end of the J-pipe and run it to the stock exit. You will need different sized couplers and an adaptor coupler. You will need to figure out what sized pipes to use. Then find ways to keep the couplers from ripping themselves apart. Find a way to support the pipes. Hope that the j-pipe doesn't sag and rip the flex-coupling at the exhaust manifold apart or build something like a support from the hull bottom up to the jpipe to support it. Oh, and it's loud. Alcohol-dragster loud on the water loud. Very annoying, and will hear you coming from about 8 miles away. When you ride with your friends, if anyone rides to the left of you, they will become deaf within seconds. You, yourself will be damn near deaf. Insandiego Joe did all this. He spent weeks and multiple renditions to make it work. So, if you have multiple couplers, pipes, some bracketry, extra hose clamps, and a nose for designing, go for it. It's "simple."

I'm continuously amazed at how difficult eveyone keeps trying to make this.
