Vinyl to Re-Cover Seat 1996 GSX
Is there anywhere that has vinyl to recover this seat. If not an exact match, where could I get something close.
I would also be interested in a used cover or seat if anyone has one

custom seat would be jettrim, or hydroturf or Mline.
but you can buy a cheap replacement on ebay.
you could even go to a local upholstery shop and ask about marine vinyl. take your old cover with you, they will have material to replace it.
you will need stainless steel staples and a staple gun strong enough to punch them into the hard seat base.
you dont replace the foam under the cover, just the skin

I spoke to Jettrim. They said that they have problems fitting GSX seats. Sometimes they are to big and sometimes they are too small due to variations in the size of the seat foam. Would this be a problem with all custom seat covers? Is it possible to just stretch vinyl over the seat like the original cover? Any other ideas?

Sure. Go to an upholstery store and get some naugahyde. Did my old bayliner in gray and it turned out pretty good.
