05 rxp lost power
05 rxp lost power... 18 hrs on it ......will only turn 6300 rpm....and 52 mph.......have i lost a s/c or something .....it was running kinda funny saturday didnt seem like it had all the power it usually has... but sun it has lost alot of power down to 52mph ...did i cause this ????did i not do something i should have done???...is it the way im riding it???....any help would be appreciated thanks .....stacey

You did nothing wrong. Unfortunately your supercharger clutch went out. Bring it to your dealer if you are under warranty.

thanks green hulk i figured you would know what happened to it .....also i am thinking about the 2 or 2.5 degree wedge but everything else is stock is this a good or bad idea....i just like popping wheelies not really that much into going any faster than it already is......also is there and airfilter on this rxp....cant seem to locate one.......thanks stacey

Forget the 2.5 wedge. I run the 2.0 wedge, but ride in flat water. If you ride in any chop whatsoever forget the wedge all together.
No, there is no air filter on the stock RXP intake system.

Hulk didn't emphasize enough about "flat water." It seems with even a ripple the wedge might cause some porpoising that you might not otherwise get w/o a wedge.

and that "ripple" could even be caused by a bug landing in the water...or a bird poop.....
