    Windows 7 Beta

    Hey, im trying to DL the beta for Windows 7. But when I go to download it, the download screen just has a green spinny thing in the middle of my screen. Has anyone downloaded the beta and could anyone tell me if im doing something wrong?

    Its only beta and it has a blue screen of death equivilent? Those MS engineers work fast.

    its not that Darth, its on the download screen. Im using google chrome, I never thought about trying a different browser

    yea...that was the problem...apparently microsoft doesnt like google chrome

    Microsoft doesn't like anything that isn't Microsoft.

    yea, im surprised they allow firefox on windows 7

    Doesn't like Safari on a Mac either. Had to fire up XP in Virtual Box to get to the registration screen. Friggin HUGE download I might add, 2.4GB!

    Well 2.4GB compared to 4gb of Leopard i installed on my Imac isnt quite bad. Building a new pc this weekend so iam waiting, till ill download it and give her a try. From what i here its getting better as far as a upgrade from vista..... only time will tell.
