    ATTN: HOUSTON AREA GUYS

Some of you may recognize me from the Riva board and I decided to join this forum after lurking here for a few weeks. I am wondering where the Houston GPR tuner guru's ride at. Guy's like Fercho and his crew. I ride on Sam Rayburn alot but usually roll solo because most of my friends don't ride much anymore. I am as die-hard as they come, and would like to make a few rides with you guys and just ride somewhere different.

    Welcome Sleeper!!!

Most ride in Clear Lake...put in at 270 off Nasa rd 1 (Egret Bay), also San Bernard river, Lake Houston (nasty water).

I am sure a few more guys will sound off. Should be a fun summer. Keep in touch on the board and we can all hook up !

Thanks for the welcome, I am looking forward to it. I assume the water is pretty smooth on the river, but is there alot of current? Rayburn can get very rough and the Angelina river is smooth but has alot of current when the lake is generating. The Angelina runs into the Sam Rayburn Dam. It is a very pretty and clean river, but, there is alot of debris from trees that makes for a nervous always on the look out ride.

Yeah...pretty smooth, unless wind or weather conditions get bad. Current sometimes moves 2-3 mph, depending on the tides.

How's it going guys? Noob here! Some of these riders seem pretty legit I'm not sure if I can keep up! I've owned sport bikes up till now but looking to fill that void with this 05 RTX I just bought.

I'm here in League City as well and I put in over at Dickinson Bayou over off of hwy 3. It's fresh water and smooth as glass!
