They are great quality, however some of the hardware specifically the 4 prong tee nuts were not stainless. I managed to find some stainless steel 4 prong tee nuts but they are in standard size, no big deal. If anyone gets these and wants the stainless hardware let me know because they were a pain to find.

    pm sent bradsta....

Sorry bout that Beachbum... due to only selling a few of these units every month it is hard to get a good price on the stainless prongs + there pretty hard to find..Also the ones that HSE tried to get the prongs broke off when trying to install them into the backing plates...If your riding in Salt water alot It would be a good idea to get some stainless ones from your local supplier...I only ride in salt water and have had the cast ones in my backing plates for a few months now.. I just pump a little grease in the holes before inserting the bolts and it has kept mine in good nick..also some silicone around the holes were the prongs go in the backing plate when putting it back on the ski pretty much to replace the silicone you'll pull off when you take the stock sponsons off .

funny that, the red ones were taken on the bonnet on my VW Golf... before they went onto a friends RXT..

beachbum, we did locate the stainless steel ones but the costs were just through the roof... can u pm myself or pooche with regards to how much you got them for??? we can only get decent prices if we buy in quantities of 10 000 or more .

i used grease on the cast ones 12months ago... havent moved my sponsons since.. i took them out yesterday to see how they were holding up.. ok so far.. i too ride in saltwater, and with pooche as well...

Its no problem. I just could not find stainless metric prongs anywhere. The ones I got are 1/4". I'll PM you where I got the stainless hardware.
