Slow down for boat wakes!!!
This is my buddies RXT after letting a friend of his take it for a spin. No alcohol was involved, but maybe a bit of restraint should have been.
The guy launched off of the wake of a wakeboard boat that was towing a wakeboarder. These things have big ballast tanks and some use drop down fins to pull huge wakes to launch the wakeboarders higher. The accident happened on the CA Delta this weekend. The rider suffered a torn rotator and some other shoulder injuries. Whose fault is up in the air but the guy was flat out on the RXT, launched, landed and was ejected. The ski ran about 6 ft up the embakment and suffered really bad nose and bottom damage. It limped back to the trailer and almost sunk. The rider is experienced and said that it just hooked when it landed. OPAS?
Probably a combo of a few things but be carefull of what water conditions are behind other boats....

Yeah... I'm glad its not one of mine. The guy who crashed it feels like sh-t for doing it. They still have the RXP to run... Don't know if ins. will replace it or try and fix it

Your friend's friend is an idiot who can't ride.
Your friend is an idiot for loaning his ski to an idiot who can't ride.
It doesn't surprise me why everybody wants to get us banned, this is the perfect example of idiots that are allowed (or should I say not forbiden) to ride PWCs and give us a bad name.
Considering there probably were witnesses who went home thinking PWC riders are obnoxious, reckless idiots and will probably sign with both hands the next anti PWC petition they're offered to sign, only thing I'd say about the dammage is : "Good for the dammage, I hope it costs you a lot, because the higher the bill the more it will make you think twice next time."
A LICENCE GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!

Not to sound dumb but did this guy hit the boat ?
Or did he run it up on the ground?
Please try to explain.

apparently he hit the wake, lost the boat and the boat went and hit something.
If i had been the wakeboarder I'd have kicked his ass.

they will for sure fix it, it will be alot cheaper than you think to do it too, the only problem is time, i bet any shop will tell you they are about a month or more out right now, pretty much the exact same damage happened to me last year
