    Whats next?

    whats next for me? im in the uk so parts are hard to source..
    ive done the following..
    HANDLING..
    riva trimtabs / riva rideplate / riva sponsons / protec steering nozzle / pump stuffing kit / r&d intake grate.
    ENGINE...
    waveater clips / j gaped plugs / riva reed stuffer kit / exhaust plastic box bypass / 13/19 solas prop.

    im getting 65mph in slight chop on gps would like a slight bit more any ideas...or faster acceleration dont really want to go for the heads as i would need to re do the carbs and ive only just had them rebuilt at a pretty cost....
    just looking for bolt ons as i need reliability,,i ride in the sea only and do a lot of jumping..

    you really cant do anything else with out rejetting
    like a head flame arrestors and things of that nature
    you can make a reliable ski but just have to make the carb in sync with the mods you install ask oside bill for help hes good with carbs
    i would say get a head and flame arrestors and free flow

    hmm

    well im looking at getting hold of a SECOND HAND TURBO EXHAUST PIPE IF ANYBODY IS SELLING ONE??????????????????????????????????????????????

    i very rarelly go flat out and spend 90% of my riding wave jumping.. even when im going fast i only ever go to 3/4 throttle and only ever go flat out in very short bursts...

    although i have heard good reports on the rideplate mod and nobody seems to knock it i dont see it cost effective to send it over to the us and have the work done.... i see it better cost wise to put that money towaeds something better (imo) UNLESS SOMEBODY WAS SELLING A SECOND HAND ONE OFF COURSE...

    I think modding the rideplate would be a waste, for that matter you could try putting the stock plate back on.

    Yes Turbo tube would be a good idea

    You could try shimmmng the trim tabs down, 2 small/medium washers under all 8 bolts

    Adding a 2005 GPR pump with a Skat 13/19 swirl impeller would provide a significant improvement to holeshot and acceleration.

    rather than a turbo pipe i would retain stock stinger and fit jet works mod,a must for wave jumping come to think of it a must for any gpr..JMO

    my jump ski (wave) retains the stock plate for rough use...but if its speed you gotta have a speed plate,

    I did not read your post carefully,forget modding your plate.A stock ride plate is great for your riding conditions or just use your Riva.

    although woody is correct i use a ff plate in the sea on ported ski and wave jump all day long without a problem and still hang toes off the back on way home for speed...you can fit one its just up to you and where your budget is...

    i would swap out between stock plate (rough day) and ff (calm day) when i only had one gpr...worked for me

    Do the jetworks mod its one of the best thing I have done to my ski for low end I used a holeshot kit from island very easy to do.
