    R/r 6224 cam specs

    Rotax racing 6224 c-cam specs. Comes with no info. Does anyone know the specs on this cam. Will the riva valve train kit work for this cam.i need some feed back on this cam

    doesnt that suck.you spend all that money and they cant even tell you what you need to use for it to work safely. that pisses me off

    The Riva springs will support .400 lift. The cam you have should have has .390 Lift If it is the gen 3 RR cam. You can confirm this by measuring the lobe lift and multiply it by 1.64.

    Also the stock valve pockets will not work. they are not deep enough.

    could you not use an extra layer gasket to get the valve to piston clearance

    You could! But the rite way to do it is to check valve to piston clearance on overlap and cut the valve pockets to correct depth.
