New to Ottawa, Canada... looking for a few good places to ride!

    Hello,

Wasn't sure where I should have posted this, so I hope I chose the right area!

Anyways, I just recently moved to Ottawa (South Keys/Uplands) and I'm looking for some good locations to ride! Also, some good ramp locations would be very nice also!

On a side note, why is it so hard to find a place to live here that tolerates parking for a jetski!!!

    Welcome to the forum!

The Ottawa River has some good spots to ride. If you go to Manotick the Rideau is ok as well.
If you don't mind a short drive, Carleton Place has Mississippi Lake and 40 minutes from there you can go to the Big Rideau.

If you are leaving from South Keys you can be at the Thousand Islands in a little over an hour. It is the best place to ride in Eastern Ontario. If you go alone make sure you bring a GPS and a cell phone because it is easy to get lost.
    What do you ride?

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah, I've heard many good things about thousand islands! Really looking forward to it! Is there many good spots to ramp your jetski without paying fees?

    I have a brand new RXP-X 08.
