    Lots of silicone?

My 260 has excess silicon on the bottom right behind the intake grate, I think it's called the "shoe".
all the gaps are siliconed solid but it spreads out about 1" on both sides of the gaps.
It looks like they smoothed it out with a 2" putty knife.
Should I just leave it alone?

SHort answer, clean it up. Remove the excess, make it nice and smooth. More than likely it will pertrude past the hull as well. Be careful not to scratch it up.
