    new numbers on xll

finally got the 05 pump and put it on my wifes xll. Water was 6 inch chop, Air temp. 87 degrees. Water temp. 79 degrees. Humidity high, First run 72.3 mph. @ 7190 rpm's, second run 72.2 mph. @ 7190 rpm's, Third run 71.7 mph. @ 7180 rpm's, All runs were back to back. The ski on take off was unbelievable, It would shot right out of the water and slam back down. When the wife tried it every time she would hole shot the ski, You would see the whole bottom of the ski come out of the water. When she got back there was a big smile and she said i have to get use to this. So from a 70.5 mph. 2 weeks ago with the nu-jet to a 72.3 mph. on the 05 pump. A 1.8 mph. gain

Those are the kind of numbers I'm looking for. I finaly got my XLL in the water yesterday for a little bit after putting in the new motor, and it's running great! No numbers yet till I break in the motor, but the hole shot is killer; with 1/2 tank, if I don't lean on the bar it jumps up and comes unhooked when I launch it. After I break it in, I'm getting numbers, then putting Jims plate on, getting more numbers, and then I'm putting the ADA head on (stock head is on it now). More to follow.
