    GP1200 Oil Pressure Gauge

I was wondering if anyone out there has installed a oil pressure gauge in to a gp1200? I rather not block off the pump and mix so I was hoping I could install a gauge to monitor the pump is working correctly?

    Any thoughts or links? Thanks

you'd be hard pressed to find a sturdy /waterproof gauge that would read that low since the oil just dribbles into the carbs and often it's a line that fails not the pump the gauge would't help u with that

as above there is no guage to read the pressure of oil that low... you could add a water temp unit to the exhaust though... this would tell you in advance that you MAY have a problem. i have one on my ski and it works well..

I don't follow? what does the waveaters have to do with oil? Waveaters are a for sure mod but oil injection is what it is unless you upgrade all the hose clamps and even then it's a concern ( at least it was for me untill I went premix on all of mine)

Isn't there a clip to hold oil lines from popping off?
