Different year boats have different size nozzles. What is yours?

I can tell ya now that FF is hurting you with a 1300 waterbox. Rpm's sound good the cavatation is from the 800grate.

This is a blerb from a PM I got from a top tunner

the 1200 waterbox doesn't have the wart looking box on the side of it like the 1300 waterbox does. By not having the "wart-looking" 1300 box, the 1200 box creates more backpressure. So adding the FF to the 1200 box will give you your hole shot without hurting top end (and sound mean as hell too).

Even Better. If your running a 1300cc engine, you can you the waterbox from a 1200 boat and put the FF on it and not lose anything on top(and also have an improved holeshot).

The engine needs the backpressure.....but not too much and not too little.

Here are the results of the different combos:

    1) 1200 boat with 1200 (original box) + stock sound supression = limited hole shot with good top end.

    2) 1300cc engine with 1300 box + FF = good hole shot with 1 mph loss on top.

    3) 1300cc engine with 1300 box (original) + stock sound supression = limited hole shot with good top end.

    4) 1300cc engine with a box from the 1200 series + FF = great hole shot with no loss in top speed.

Best to leave your pitch where it is if your in cool weather now,
by summer your rpms will be a little to low. I recommend a set
of VF3 reeds to give you another 100 rpms to get your rpms
back up in the heat of the summer.
