    Exhaust manifold bell fix

A lot of us seem to melt the bells on our exhaust manifolds, and sometimes even the SS bells get loose as well. I was looking at Jet Hot Coating for exhaust and wondered ... if you had a manifold that was new or 100% intact and sent it out for one of their best hi temp coatings inside (and outside of the bell too), would it survive? Has anybody tried this?

I just dropped my replacement off last week to have a ceramic coating put on the inside and out of the bell. Won't be back on til spring though.

Totally ... but I would still prefer to keep my GH box setup. If there was a 'shorty' header that would bolt up to my J pipe, or one that included a J pipe replacement so I could still use the GH box, I would be very tempted. Jason might be working on that maybe, not sure tho ...

He has pics of a shortened Gibson incorporated with the headers on his "my new build" thread. Looks cool and should help a lot to decrease the sound level.
