    faulty hour meter on gpr

    guys ive got a fault with my hour meter on my gpr its showing im doing more hours than i actually am
    eg... if i go out for 1 hr the hours will clock up that i have done 7hrs

    my question is does anybody know if i can disconect the hour meter without losing all the display??

    Install a PET tach, it has its own hour meter

    im going to install a tac anyway but wanted to know if its possible to disconect the hour meter without loosing all the guages..
    what makes the hour meter count????

    so my original q...
    does anybody know if you can disconect the hr wire? if so where is it
    i need to do it soon before my ski reads 50000000001 hrs
