Ride from Blue Water Bridge to Ambassador Bridge
How about a long ride sometime this summer, from the blue water bridge... all the way down the st clair river... through lake st. clair... all the way to the ambassador bridge. There would be parts of the ride where there are 3 foot white caps and calm water. It would suit both kinds of set ups and could be challenging for all riders. It would be a fun ride, some could race and some could do it for fun. There are many gas stations on the way were the skis not set up for offshore racing could stop. Would anyone want to be in for this.

I grew up in Sarnia and live in Chicago so I will make a point of going on the ride if the dates workout. It can get a little knarley under the blue water bridge
but there will be lots of stretches were you can ride WOT if that suits people.

Did Canada ever get the casino going in Sarnia? I've boated up there a few times from Port Clinton Ohio. Gone as far as Bayfield Ont. MacRay is a great place to stay... Ron

There is a couple of marinas in Sarnia bay that have gas docks and there is a decent ramp in the bay also.
ALong the way you can stop at stag island by corruna as it has a sand point to wlak around and stretch your legs. after that chaser will have to give details of whats available on the water, but I know there is gas all the way to windsor/detroit

I've been to Sarnia and been stuck on a sandbar on a friends boat near the gas dock. It's been a while - when I was there last time they were advertising the casino.
It's a nice run up the St. Clair River from Lake St. Clair. I really wanted to take some time looking around Algonac but have never had the time. Lots of places to eat on the Clinton River.
Thanks for the information... Ron

I'd love to do this ride when you figure out what the dates are let me know. 99% of my riding is on Lake St. Clair, I launch at metro beach and ride over to little Muskemut.

i usually launch from the 9 mile tower area and either ride out to muskamoot to go race or down to the ambassador bridge. I have been pretty far up the st clair river but have not been up to the blue water bridge before.

Don't forget to stop at the bar on Harsen's island in Sans Souci. You can get gas at the Tasmoo Marina by there.
