Question Location for air bleed hole in IC's...question

Does it matter where it's placed? Front or back? I see most people placing it at the front. Has anyone tried the back and noticed any difference?

I would assume it is best to place it on the side where the water first enters the intercooler.

That's what I thought. Just wasn't sure as to why that is.

u need the bleed off in the HIGHEST point of the cooler when the boat is in its natural water rested/level position........air rises regardless of which way the water flows through your cooler fellas!

Here is mine on the outlet side. We put it up as high as possible and in the corner. 1/4" barb and hose to 3/8 pisser out the back. Suposedly people have noticed 100 RPM from this.

Yes of course. Highest point I know. So you're saying it does not make a difference whether the bleed hole is at the water in or water out end of the tank? Have you tested one versus the other? Thanks.

Really? Here is the thread about it http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...ighlight=bleed Same thing that Riva puts in thier gen II IC to bleed out the air giving more cooling to the IC. I used the X washer for more water flow since you are bleeding some out of the ski.

This is another question I have. How do people feel about that? With the bleed line I'm thinking about going with the bigger flow washer. Is that what's normally being done? I've heard the XS cores have had trouble filling up so I was thinking with the larger washer along with the bleed line it would be even better. I haven't heard too much about the larger washer though as far as actual results, mostly just theories.
