Thread: Finally finished!!

Just wanted to thank those who answered all of my questions on my 2004 rxp rebuild over the last month. Started up on the first crank today! Overall I believe I came out ok.
2004 RXP with broken valve and 50 hours- $1000
All new oem parts....forged piston, new rings on all pistons, all new stretch bolts, oil pumps, new rod bearings, Riva washers in the supercharger, cylinders honed, 2006 head and valves with 10 hours....all not cheap. Probably 200-2100 in parts. So around 3 grand for a pretty fresh ski. Can't wait to break it in.
Was very nervous cranking it over for the first time with all of the money invested. Was not worried about my time involved, as it was a great project for the winter weekends. Thanks again for the help. Mike

Hopefully it will warm up enough in the next few weeks to give it a shot.
