RXT-X with Solas 15/22R Watcon Findings
Installed brand spankin' new Solas 15/22R today on my T-X and here's what I found out with my Watcon gauge:
Stock Impeller - supposed to be 14/25. Obviously not polished, had rough texture, blades not sharp, and sticker goo on it!
Blade 1: 13/20, 2: 13/21, 3: 13/21, 4: 12.5/21
New 15/22R - Polished to a mirror finish, stamped 15/22R, sharp blades, bad-ass quality!
Blades: ALL measured 14/22. Could have been 15/22 but, Watcon leading edge ring doesn't go up to 15. But, all looked exactly the same!
As soon as I can get on the water I'll post speed, accelleration, and handling results! I can't wait..................

I received my new 15/22 last week. The first one I bought back in May 2008 was a 15/20 restamped 15/22. None of the blades were even close. The one from last week was right on when checked with my Watcon gauge. I did have to file two of the blades edges because of touch down on my SS wear ring. The price they charge for props one should not have to get the file out.

You will like it for sure. See my mods below. I am right on 73. I would like to add an exhaust (cannot make my mind up), and the adj. venturi. That's about all she can go without spending big dollars. (ie, new ecu, valve train upgrade, etc..)

JPT, my prop measured very similar although I rebent it to a 13/24. The oem props are effective but obviously leave something to be desired. But I'm still getting good speed with it in the cool water and air. Interested to see what the 15/22 will do especially on holeshot (will it hurt it). Jwade, what effect did the wedge have on yours ski's performance and handling? You say your at 73. Is that with a full tank or...?

I have been really happy with my my 15/22 on my TX as well. I put a reduction nozzle and that prop. I am running an 82 mm ring with that prop but am still running higher RPMS than I want.
I only have a few mods (stock air filter currently) and my RPMs are still at 8100 to 8140 with this cool weather. Need to see what it will hit when warmer water and warmer weather hits.

DId you notice any reduction in accelleration when you installed the pro-nozzle? I'm sure your top end speed increased with the 82 ring but, I'm curious about percieved accelleration differences.
I've seen several post guys, bending to 15/23.5 and others to 13/20.5. Not sure the way to go yet....
