    MoTec ECU swap produces big HP gains.

    Take a look at what MoTec has for the SHO. As far as fuel/ignition management systems go, MoTec is considered one of the best. In the test, the usual peripherals were changed and data plotted; last came the addition of the ECU to tie everything together resulting in a 60+ hp gain.

    You get what you pay for. If your throwing $11K at an FZR, a couple of extra $'s doesn't seem unreasonable; I like the multiple map feature.

    Yea. But ya lose quite a bit of functionality of the ski (SHO). Some wont like that bit.

    ECU is $2800-$3000....throw an addl $1200-1500 for the harness if i'm not mistaken......i'll let the Motec guys chime in on this one...

    ....but for me...4 grand is a little too much for a stand alone ECU......but that's just me and my position on the food chain...
