    Question Riva nozzle size

So with my new setup I may have to go to a 85mm ring. I know the 85mm ring will fit but it seems the nozzle size prior to the ring may be around 83mm. Kinda seems to defeat the purpose of using the 85mm ring. Anyone know the inside diameter of the nozzle prior to the ring or if it needs to be opened up more to allow the 85mm ring to be effective?

An 85mm ring will fit inside the Riva pro series nozzle.

Yup, I know the ring will fit without a problem but just beyond the ring further in the nozzle, it seems like it would need to be opened up.

Ok, looking at an 80mm ring and an 86mm ring I now understand. The inside diameter that is most forward facing to the ski when installed is the same on all rings. It is the actual exit that varies.
