Questions about trim tabs with hand lever
For anyone who has used one with a cable system how hard are they to pull on a full size ski? I'm thinking about fabbing one up for the Ultra and but I'm not sure how to go about it. I can design it but I can't make it out of alum like it should be without a cnc. Is there a way to cut alum clean without a cnc?

If you will PM me an email address I will send you some pics of my ski they have the r-pot trim tabs but the pull lever has been removed. At least you can see how they are mounted.

I am to in the process of making a pull lever system but for a dump nozzle. They are not hard to pull in if you pull them at the off throttle setting and then get back on it.
For example....your racing.....getting ready to make a bouy and your at full throttle basically pull the lever which will barely move...then when your getting close let off the throttle while pulling the trim lever and it should go from hard to smooth and then punch it again through the corner and let it out.
Hope this helps

These are the photos that I made. The pull lever has been removed but the rod came thru the gromet above the tab on the left (from rear of ski) as seen in the first photo
