Fellow ol schoolers,
I have an idea. As some of you know I am a pilot and I thought about an idea. Who would be interested in pitching in on the plane costs and all of going somehwere to meet up and have dinner somewhere? I live in the Indy area and most of you are an hour or less in the plane and I could be a bus driver and pick each of ya up at the local airport and we could get somewhere close to all this and have dinner together??
Thoughts...comments are welcome. We have such a long time until it's summer and we can "ride" together...so I was thinking something in between!

I haven't broke out the map, so tell me where is Anderson Indiana??? I just recently accepted a new sales managers position with my employer and have as part of my sales territory, western Indiana. I'm scheduling a trip with one of my sales reps to travel southern Illinois and western Kentucky/Indiana. As far as the plane trip, I'm sure I could convince the wife unit to go.....warm climate sounds good, todays high is only supposed to reach 12 degrees.

I'm about 20 miles or so North of Indy. I was just thinking we could meet up somewhere central and have some dinnner one night before the summer months arrive. We could head South...but really depends on the "central" location could/would be for all of us to meet up. I know most of us are decently close...and we "my family" often fly all over the place for dinners etc...so though hmm what about if we made a guy trip outing. There are tons of things we could do like:
1. Go cart racing "indoor"
3. A few rounds of Paint ball
heck....I guess after 8-9 years talking to Bigraider "mark", it was nice to put a face to the name after all these years.

Seems most of us are in the northern states. I'm just trying to think of something that would really be feasible....and not to costly. The plane is basically about $190/hour ...and will fly about 160mph. Might be easier to do a few different trips. Maybe scoop up everyone from the northern Chicago and MN area...and then another trip out east...followed up by something west/south.
