    Question does this sound right???

ive converted my gp1200r to premix and im now about to mix fuel with oil...
im just a bit confused by the mix... im aware its 32/1
by yamaha site it shows the capacity of the tank is 15.9g - 60L
now acording to the conversion chart is says i must add 63.6 us ounces to 15.9 gallons...
this seems a lot of oil is this right???

    Yup, that's right. (15.9 gal = 2035.2 oz.)

I use 16oz water bottles filled w/oil. (one pint)
-for 32:1 add one bottle per 4 gal of gas (32 pints).
-for 40:1 add one bottle per 5 gal of gas (40 pints).

assuming you fill a 20 litre jerry can or vp fuel jug

your ratio...to make it easy we will say 40;1

    fill you 20L can/cans

in the calculator on your phone devide litres by ratio

so that 20(litres) then devide by 40 (ratio) your answerr will be 0.5,that 0.5 litres of oil per 20liters of fuel

hope this helps sorry if i teaching you to suck eggs but i thought in liters would be easy for you as a uk guy rather than ounces

    32:1 = 31.25ml per litre of fuel...easy to remmeber.

theres a neat premix calucator located here if you need a hand with mix ratios.

    hope this helps.
