    Moded WORX intake grate

    RXP platform

Comparing Riva intake grate to Worx moded grate.

Anyone with knowledge please chime in??.
I have found that the fastest top end grate on my T-X is a moded stock X grate which has the smallest scoop and the most opening to tunnel. THat is testing all 4 grates.

How do you guys think this moded worx grate will compare to the Riva on top end??.
I was going to make the wedge between the bars smaller but thought i might try this first.
I actually think the grate is made strong enough to hold up with the entire center wedge removed.

Anyone that has run stock worx against riva what was the difference on RXP?. I did not see that much of top speed difference on T-X comparing worx to riva surprisingly. Also the worx and riva grates are same pitch and design on both skis.

Skoepp, if this info helps? 2004 RXP with 2 degree pump wedge + Stock Worx Intake grate, VTS setting from midpoint mark, about 2 clicks from the middle upward. (No more than 2 clicks) + full tank of gas. This is the set up I ran on the Mark Hahn 300 Endurance race. The hook up was unbelivable compared to stock grate and no wedge. For me the Worx is a keeper. I was impressed on the hook - up on rough water too. (Ocean) just my .02

corrrect, just holding bolts. I took my RXP apart months ago so I thought would be good idea to keep everything together, meaning parts and bolts. As its turned out, it will be a good thing since i am still waiting on my cylinder head to get back and I am sure have forgot alot.

i took the wings off each side and the top half out the center portion of my X stock grate and it was still slower than the R&D grate with NO MODS under the same conditions!

p.s. when i tested it against the other anyway.
