Pass this on to your kids and grandkids
...they may have a hard time believing it!
1950s Sandwich Menu from Woolworth's....Our Generation's Fast Food. If any of you have doubt about what we kids paid for a coke and a sandwich at Woolworths ( How many don't know what Woolworth's was?) in the 1950's, here's proof of the era we lived in........

You could get a burger and a Coke for under a buck! Wow, that is cheap.

Sure, I used to like the chocolate/vanila/strawberry ice cream sandwiches at Woolworths. Kressges weren't nearly as good... Ron

I ate at Woolworth's before. It was when I was a kid in the late 80's early 90's. Prices weren't that cheap though!

never eaten there, but the menu looks a million times healthier than todays fast food, no doubt!

That was my 1st real job, clean up crew at Woolworths. The grill lady would give me a rootbeer float if I cleaned the grill for Her at night. Ahh, the 70's......

Ahh, yes... The good old F.W. Woolworth Company. I vaguely remember going there as a kid (I am 37 now). Prices certainly weren't like that...
