    IYO what pitch would this need?

    i have an 06 RXT i am putting an x sc on it with the riva upgrade wheel i have the 42's in it plus added jims plate w/skegs, and the rrfpr. i also installed the reduction nozzle, i have the xs ic ,riva grate ,and wedge with 4 inch up front. I have a 14/19, my question is how much bending can this wheel take and to what degree will i need for these mods? thanks.

    You might check out Jpeaconsult 185 mod thread. He is setting up a ski very similar in mods.
    He was big time on limiter with 14/19 and is now testing a 15/20, 13/20.5, and a 14/22.
    He has tested the 13/20.5 and was pretty good on rpm,s so with that being said you will need to bend the 14/19 to a 14/20 or 14/21 aprox.

    i was told to bend that 14/19 to a 15/20

    That would work for starters for sure.
    The trailering edge, last number of prop, is what you need to focus on to bring rpms down and bring speed up.

    The difference in a 15/20 and a 13/20 in my testings are:
    aprox same top end but the 13/20 will have less cavitation, and better acceleration.

    This is just my findings and experience but others may vary.

    Jeremy will be doing back to back test of a 14.5/20 and a 13/20.5, so we will find out.

    i think you should run your ski first...see what revs you hit,how you get away ect,then you can make an informed choice 15/20 sounds good but each ski is different,+ you cant have to many props,test first,then decide

    well all i have left is the 14/19 just wanted to start off close to where i need to be i dont want to have to send it out to impros to be pitched a bunch of times. so i guess i should start out 15/20

    If I were you with the x-charger upgrade I would go with a 15/22 and depitch if need be. The 14/19 wont even be close.

    I bent the 14/19 as much as 3mm and still was at 1/2 throttle. I was extremely hard on the limiter and ended up melting a portion of the exhaust manifold bell.

    If you opt for Mark_Legg's suggestion, be extremely cautious and run up to 8,000 RPM, not 8100! You will be at half throttle, just like I was. In fact, I would imagine you would be on the limiter even harder with the X SC upgrade (spacer and wheel), as I only have the X SC. Just be carefull if you try that 14/19 and do not plan on running WOT!

    PS: You should be able to sell that 14/19 and pick up a used 15/20 for about the same price.
