04 vs 05 heads diffrient?
Are the stock ones diffrient?

should be the same. 2003-2004-2005-2006 are all 5:9:1 compression ratio for 84mm pistons. The loss of PV's beginning in 2005 should not have changed anything.
Someone correct me if i am wrong about this

thats what I thought but protec said they are diffrient? also the part #'s for the head and gasket are diffrient? I want to get my stock 05 head milled and put it on my friends 04 and then take his o4 head for a backup.

should be fine because i am stealing Amys 2005 head and putting it on my 2003 boat. She is getting my milled 1300 head in return.

Do they even make a head for the 13r yet? Last year, about this time, they promised to have a 13r head available. Do they now?

Not sure If they now anything? But I did call riva and they thought that the heads/gasket where the same on both but they didnt even realize that the part # where diffrient? I used a 04 head gasket on my 05 and it is diffrient but I think It will be fine (I hope)
