    Speaker setup -- Help

So this is what I'm thinking of doing.

    Speakers:

    • 1x 7" 150W RMS - Mounted on the glovebox lid
    • 2x 4" 70W RMS - Mounted on the underside of the Hood (for when it's beached)[These would have switches so I could turn them off when riding to lessen power draw]
    Battery:

    • 1X Yuasa SeaDoo Battery, Rated @ 30 amp (With an isolator, To charge when riding, but limit the speakers to JUST THIS BATTERY)
    Amplifier:

    • 1x SONY 600W (Running 3 channels -- 1x 140W RMS and 2x 60W RMS) With a "Current Drain at rated output (A): 32"

I chose this amp because I work at Best Buy, and can get this for more than 60% off.

Obviously the draw on the Amp is more than the battery -- What does this mean for me? Could I still run the amp, just not @ 100%??

    What would you suggest?

In all honesty, I would be scared when it came to restarting after a little break. Thats alot of amps being pulled.

The charging circuit on a 2004 RXP puts out only 360 watts @ 6000 rpms. Maybe you should consider a group 27 gel cell battery just to power the stereo... Ron

That's what the isolated auxiliary battery is for.
