    Convert from Racegas to regular on a SuperStocker??

    I have a complete Riva build SuperStocker ski, that runs on race gas..

    Is there some way to make it run on regular gas? Without having $1000 in parts??

    See picture whats on it.. Full MSD, Triple´s etc..

    change the domes in your riva head,but if it a true flat top motor the pistons need to change every 5-10 hours??

    so...... WTF did you buy a ferrari for when you wanted to drive a civic?

    msd..... change for T3 in rec mode

    domes.... change for 29cc with 2mm squish

    cylinders.... change for oem 60t

    pistons..... change for 60t oem

    there....... more than $1k gone

    just let me know what you want for the whole package and I'll peruse

    I bought the "Ferrari"/SuperStocker just to have some nice parts for my conversion.. And no one here in Sweden want to run racefuel because of the cost..
    But the ski is sick, pulls so good!

    So there is no other way than change all that?

    i have domes that will go straight in to you riva heads, these will bring comp down to 120-130 psi and you could run on pump gas,but you will still have to probelm of the life span of the flat top pistons!!!

    So if I run regular gas with other domes the piston will not live that long or what do you mean?

    it does not matter what compression/dome you run the life span of flat tops is limited!!!,like bren said you are much better off with a 1300 or 1390 standard piston design then a flat top,flat tops are good for make lots of compression on a full blown race ski using race gas ,not for every day use,where if you changed to a standard type lower compression piston it would be a lot less maintance,but triple pipe ski are still HIGH maintances,but they just go so HARD!!!!!!!!!!,hope this help with out to much confusion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i spoke to lowell a a why'll ago ,then i was weighing up my options,and he had Super Stock ported ,standard type cylinders on the self,maybe lowell oe woody could held on this one!!!!!!!!!

    The set i just pulled out of mine had 62 hours on them, js750/1100 kawasaki flattops & they still look fine.
    All i would do is compression test it, figure out your piston & deck height, then machine the domes to get in between 150/160psi to run pump gas.

    I call bull shit on that!
    I've gotten two closed course race seasons out of a set of flat tops, and they still looked fine.
