    Paint rideplate??

    Is there any "rules" why I shouldn´t paint it?

    and the ride plate would probably beifelt from a polish too

    ive powder coated my ride plate and its been fine since last year and it doesnt slow you down any if you paint it!!!

    I would have to think that a polished ride plate would be faster.

    every seen a painted Riva ride plate or intake grate after quite a few hours of riding?

    the paint comes off over time

    as long as the paint is smooth there is no difference in a polished or unpainted plate to a painted plate speed wise. period...
    also if you just paint it then yes i agree after a few hits it will be in bad shape
    however if you powder coat it it will be fine even if it takes a hit as powdercoating is a better process
