    New Monster 4-Tec motor

I have been thinking about this for sometime now. Back in my old street rodding-drag racing days in the 1950s and 60s saw very similar projects done. There are still many aftermarket shops/suppilers who can contribute to doing this for someone. Take a 4-Tec motor a cut number three cylinder off. Cut the head in the same place. Take the second 4-Tec motor and cut the number one cylinder off and its head in the same place. Now you have two sets of two cylinders. You marry the two blocks together and you now have a four cylinder engine of over 2100 CC with all the stuff needed at each end of the motor. Marry the two head parts together-- the two parts of the crankshaft--balancer-- rocker shafts--camshafts-have pistons--rings made along with a custom intake and exhaust manafold and you have one hell of a monster motor--and one drained bank account. Just a idea for the next site member who hits the lottery. It can be done. Who is the ECU expert out there for this project?? Oh--forgot--may as well bore it out and
    have over 2300 cc.

Grantuk--there are always those that think a far out idea/plan is not worthy of attempting. The guy who owns the machine shop you use is a great example of something "off the wall " coming to life. As Jammer 1 stated--you need the passion to pull it off--and not many have it --or understand it.

I don't means to be negative but this seems a bit to complicated and over the top, there are no positive result guaranty, would be nice, but in my opinion, i would not.
