    Mike,

I am looking at the round holes drilled in the black part of the underside of the hood. So, there are no holes at all drilled on the very top painted part?

stage 2.5...lol everything but the cam...peak speed 72.8 mph...average speed 71-71.5 mph...no don't drill through the silver part at all...the side louvers draw fresh air into the part with all the holes which in tern fills the compartment with fresh air...the intake is seperated from the engine compartment completly...Thus getting more quality air supply to the sc...Ic setup is marks @race tech...

P.S. I stuff the front end alot...I still hit reverse @ 20 mph... And completely sub the front...And next to no water in the compartment...I would suggest pulling the black plug out @ the bottom though...
