    Thumbs up Intercooler question

    Hi guys, a friend of my has a 07 rxp and he got a 08 rxp-x intercooler for $200.00 this came out a 25 hour ski, he want's to know if he can install this intercooler in his ski and what upgrades would he have to do to make this happen?

    Not sure about other mods need, but i would drop a wheel in for starters and increase air flow, then prop accordingly, and dont forget about fuel needs.

    To answer your question i think he can add to a stock RXT with no changes. He would need block off cover and obviously reroute water lines and air to and from intercooler.
    Actually if he has the X ic bracket and hoses it might fit with stock exhaust.

    the brackets are no problem he can buy those oem and there cheap, same with the hoses.

    With the stock SC'er in there, you won't need any fuel upgrades. However, the extra power will probably need some prop tweeking or a new one. Consider the 14/19 if you don't plan on a lot of upgrades in the future.

    thank you guys i guess this intercooler is going in the rxp this weekend.

    but were going to need a block off for the factory rxp (internal) intercooler.
